Mark Beirne

Mark Beirne has been working as a professional film critic for more than four years across online and mobile publications, as well as radio broadcasts. Mark is the editor of leading Australian movie guide yourMovies.com.au and is a regular guest reviewer on 99.3FM 2NSB North Shore. In 2006, Mark featured as a regular guest reviewer on The Paul Murray Hour on Triple M. His additional credits include Fashion Magazine, Australia Online, and Your Mortgage Magazine.

A journalism graduate of the University of Technology, Sydney, Mark has a strong passion for film and the arts and his movie critiques are frequently cited in mainstream print news publications and distributor advertising.

Sam Downing

The first movie Sam Downing can remember seeing at the cinema is Snow White, and he has been entranced by films ever since. Sam has worked as a professional film and television critic for two years and is the editor of yourTV.com.au, one of Australia's most popular online TV guides. He has also reviewed films on The Paul Murray Hour on Triple M and has written for publications including TV Week and Your Mortgage Magazine.

Sam has voiced his opinions on pop culture through his popular blog Culture Strain for three years. He holds a Bachelor of Communications from the University of Newcastle and cites Mean Girls as his favourite movie of all time.
